A place to let go.

One quiet hour where your body can finally settle.

Whether you live with chronic pain or simply feel stretched thin, you belong here.

A moment of quiet

Between the noise and the constant pull of the day, your body rarely gets a break. Even when you sit still, your mind keeps moving.

We provide the space. You bring yourself.

Why people come

People come for different reasons, but most say the same thing: they needed a break that actually worked. Enjoy a space with float therapy, infrared cocoon, red light and more.

“As a postpartum mom, Drift Float Rehoboth helped me reboot in ways I didn’t think possible. I tried the float pod, BEMER therapy, and the full-body infrared wellness pod all in one visit, and the combination was nothing short of transformative. The float pod quieted my nervous system in a way I hadn’t experienced since before pregnancy. The BEMER therapy left my body feeling restored and energized, and the infrared pod wrapped the whole experience in a deep, healing warmth. I walked out feeling like my authentic self again. Drift Float Rehoboth is so much more than a wellness center for me: it was a healing space that came at exactly the right time. I plan to go back before my tank is completely empty.”

“Drift Healing was our first experience with floating, and we will definitely be back! I took my daughter and we had heard about it but really didn’t know what to expect. Heather explained everything and was very accommodating. While she set up our pods we relaxed in a small, tranquil room with nature sounds and hot tea. When it was time to go back to our pods, she took her time explaining everything, answering our questions, and showing us where everything was. We floated for an hour, then used the luxurious sugar scrub and body lotion, which made our skin feel so soft and pampered. The tension in my neck and shoulders had eased for the first time in years! Thank you, Heather, for such a great, relaxing experience!”

The Founder’s Note

Welcome to our next chapter.

Many of you know me from behind the desk over the past few years. In February, I became the local owner of this space.

Welcome to Drift Float Rehoboth.

I chose the name Drift because it’s what happens when we stop bracing against the day. When we let go, even briefly, we feel it.

I want Drift to be a place where you can come exactly as you are, release the pressure for an hour, and just breathe.

The pods are not changing. I’ve been here long enough to know they are the foundation of your trust. But the feeling of the space will grow. I’m adding touches that make it more welcoming, including local art and wellness books. A place to sit. A place to linger.

Thank you for being part of this journey. I’m grateful you’re here.

With gratitude,
Heather Rowe
Owner,
Drift Float Rehoboth

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I have to be unclothed for a float?

Most people choose to float without clothing because it’s more comfortable and eliminates pressure points.

That said, it’s completely private, and you can decide what feels right for you. The room locks, and you shower before and after your session.

Is it safe if I’m claustrophobic?

Many people who worry about this are surprised by how open it feels. The pods are spacious, and you can leave the lid open at any time. You are always in control of the session. If you’d rather try something different first, the infrared cocoon or red light therapy may feel more comfortable.

What if I’ve never done this before?

That’s completely normal. Most of our guests are first-timers. We walk you through everything step by step. There’s no experience required. Just show up and we’ll take care of the rest.

How long is a session?

A float session lasts about 60 minutes. Plan for about 90 minutes total to allow time to shower and ease back into your day.

Is float therapy safe?

Float therapy is safe for most people. If you have specific medical conditions, are pregnant, or have concerns, we’re happy to talk it through with you before booking. We want you to feel confident and comfortable.
